Pioneer Premier 840Mp Deck

hey guys

am having some problems with my pioneer 840mp deck

everytime i eject a cd and put a new cd in the display comes off

i have to take the deck out and put the deck back in for the display to come back on

could this be the ribbon cable?

i had replaced it a few months back because i ran into the motroized problem with the deck being stuck and no motorizing down.

some replies could be helpful guys
