Pioneer Premier 12" 3000 Watts 4ohm

how about 42. i just read that they have a Air Suspension System that allows use in extremely small enclosures . and there info for the subs list only sealed box. .50-1 cubic feet per sub. i cant find specs for ported. i kinda want to know if they can do well in 42 as well as 32. thanks

is there a fucking pix of the box that says 3000max in this thread?
Is there a picture of the box that says 3000RMS? No. We all know they aren't rated at that. That wasn't even his question. He simply said 3000 watts to identify the specific driver.

Here is your picture of the box. Sorry its a bit small but you can still make it out.

It's not like these subs are obscure. Pioneer assigns MAX ratings to virtually all of their products. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the 3000 is a max rating. But once again, that has nothing to do with his question.

thanks there 1000 rms and thats 3000 total watts wich i dont care ahhaha. im gona run a hifonics 2008 to 2 of them. its lookin like i wont be geting the Fi for now . and i wanted to know what box would work out well. i only see sealed. wich calls for .50 - 1 cubic feet per sub. but im gona run them in a dual ported box.thanks guys for your help

Go to Pioneer's web site. You can download the manual there, which gives you several recommended boxes and their associated response curves. You can start there and play around in WinISD to get exactly what you want. It's a good thing you're going ported - these things hate sealed enclosures.

yeah. imean there are a few guys that are running them in ported boxs. but im not sure if they will do well in a box tune to 42. i mean how would they burp in a box tune so high.

You can burp a sub in any box. I actually ran a pair of the 2000SPL's (old model) in a box tuned to 42hz. They slammed and sounded half-decent.
