Pioneer Premeir (dxlpr)??

I think its this one. He actually owns the shop and it was in his personal truck. He went to a double din Alpine. He wants to sell it to me for 350 w/ a changer. What could i just resale this for.

Given the way in which you titled the thread, I would be more inclined to believe it was the DEX-P1R

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069882_36944,00.html

If it was the P9 headunit, he would be stupid to have not had the P9 processor installed aswell, which he likely would have also been trying to sell you....and that would cost a hell of a lot more than $350.

The P1R is a good unit and was very advanced for the time...one of the first "all in one" headunits....but it is quite a few years old and there are many headunits on the market today that can match it in terms of flexibility that you can buy brand new for about that same price and have a warranty. But at the time there was virtually nothing that compared. Realistically the headunit alone is in the $200 to $250 range.

Just incase I am wrong though....that headunit you posted above (the P9 headunit) is virtually useless without the P9 processor. It's just a really expensive headunit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Resale value, alone, of probably $300 - $350. It really needs the processor to shine. Though, like I said, given the way you titled the thread I would be more inclined to believe it is the P1R

^ I too was thinking P1R when I saw the title of the thread. I personally would have a hard time justifying 350$ for a P1R and a changer, I would much rather have something newer with knob and that isn't INCREDIBLY dependent on the remote control.
