Pioneer Preamp outputs

I have a Pioneer P750MP head unit, and I am trying to get the preamp outputs to send a signal to my MTX amp. I know from the manual that I need to set some settings to turn the RCA outputs on, but the manual doesn't make sense exactly what needs to be done. Does anyone know, or have a similar Pioneer product that can help me with the settings I need to set to get a signal to the Amp.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nathan

Did you get this stuff professionally installed, because I dearly hope your not trying to do it yourself if your asking questions like that.

*Hint* remote on wire, its blue, and the RCA's are plug and play.

Yes I got the blue remote wired up to the Amp, and the Amp powers on with the head unit, but there is no signal coming from the RCAs to the Amp. I tried on both the Rear outputs and Front RCA outputs. The manual talks something about setting the Rear SP output to FULL or S/W and the Preout to full or S/W, then set non-fade on. But it doesn't speak to which combination of these settings go together for a particular situation.

I checked the signal coming out of the RCAs with a meter and I got nothing.

Any help?

Go to the place you bought it from and ask them nicely if they would have a look

You can set your rear preout to subwoofer out or just plain rear out, it is never shut off so if your not getting anything from the outputs the hu may be malfunctioning.
