From these specs, the Pioneer.

They have a wider range and I think they're made of a nicer material.

yeah either way both of these sets are around 40$ I wasnt expecting some drop bass...but will they atleast put out some bass with my amp? I drive a civic and have no mid bass in the car. drives me nuts.

Nothing like a Civic with a Sony system.

They won't be that loud probably. The Pioneers @ 30 RMS will get loud enough to compete with your fart blower.

The pioneers will own the sonys by far.

I, not by choice, run both brands in my car (check my sig) and the pioneers have a fairly nice bass output for the money spent on them. The sony's, on the other hand, anything under 120hz gets lost.

From personal experience, the pioneers. Definitely.
