Pioneer N2, brain/hideaway Q

besides facing the right way does it have to be totally level? My hideaway is right side up and facing the proper way, but it's elevated about 10-20 degrees... nothing too bad, but it's not totally leveled

just wondering if this would cause any problems

No, should be close though.

I think Pioneer says less than 30 degrees.

and does it have to be mounted, i think it may shift a bit left and right
