I ahve the avic n2, and on the subwoofer there is a selection of 50, 80, and 125. It seems that these are not crossovers, rather a choice of what frequency to boost.

Am I correct in this statement?

Nevermind, I found my answer. It is a lowpass crossover.

So my next question would be, what wins, the amp crossover settings, or the HU crossover settings? I wish there was a way to just turn off the HU subwoofer LPF.

I use the H/U because im lazy.

you could just set it at 125 and then do it on the amp if you wanted it somewhere between 50-80 hz
