Pioneer HU Problems

Whenever I connect my HU up the back of it gets real hot even if it isn't on. What could that be? I don't know if it has something to do with my preamp outputs or something because everytime I connect my rca cables it makes this really loud noise but thats only when I connect both rca cables in. If I only connect one it goes down a little bit. Can someone help me please???????????????/

The RCA Cables are brand new just bought them.Thats what I thought it was so I bought new ones still same problem unless those are bad too.

are you connecting the RCAs while the HU on is on? Thats a no no....

No I'm not everything is off. Will I have to replace the HU or can I get it repaired? If so where.

who makes it? if you paid under 200 for it.. just buy a new unit.

no the Hu gets hot a few minutes after I connect it and it makes this little sound come through the speakers.The model is p6600.

I found out the problem was my funky a** radio. Does anyone know if I can get send it to pioneer and get it repaired or should I just forget about and just buy a new one.
