Pioneer GPS HEEEELLLLPPPPPP

okay....i have the avh-p6600dvd and the avg-vdp1 ad on.

the vdp does all sorts of car statistics and visualizations. it also does gps but only by coordinates and saveing/setting locations/destinations. no maps.

is there any way i can get a map display of where im going with gps? could i buy a pioneer map dvd and put it into my dvd deck and it work? helllp.

instead of being lazy decided to call pioneer and they told me what id need. an avix 88dvd unit...
