The unit was purchased in September 07', but not installed or activated until November 07' SO IT HAS ONLY SEEN 2 MONTHS OF USE!!

how much are you looking to pay? 60 shipped for one that I bought from an authorized retailer (Crutchfield) does not seem that bad to me. It would cost you 100+ shipping to get it from any other authorized retailer. Cant beat the authorized dealer + warranty
