Pioneer DEH-P9800BT

Not sure if the 7900 has time alignment... I've been looking and do not see the option. I would like to keep it around $300 (since I was already screwed out of a HU from a shop that went out of business... not getting into that). Looks like I may have to end up getting the CDA-9887. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Still have to get the steering wheel controls... that should be fun programming and then later on a 6 disc changer since I know I will miss mine.

I have this HU in my 92 Legend and I love it. When using the bluetooth feature for the phone, the person that I talking to can't tell they are on speaker phone. I don't have to talk extra loud for them to hear me either. I also use my phone(Treo 650) as a bluetooth MP3 player. By using the BT Audio feature in the radio, I can play any music stored on my phone through the HU. I can also connect a regular MP3 player via a cable. I am very satisfied with this unit.

Question. What is time alignment?

Screw it, I just ordered the Alpine CDA-9887 and the PAC steering wheel controls from Amazon.com... $348 to my door I couldn't say no. It's gotta be better than the stock HU. I'm going to have to buy a CD Changer now though.... I'm gonna miss mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

well, if you still want the 9800, return the alpine and tell your BB buddy to order it under Customer Fulfillment, there should be 6 and 12 disc Pioneer changers there too.

I would have to give him the money to buy it online, then wait for it to be shipped to his house. Then he would have to return it to get his discount and on that item is around $320. To me I'll just stick with the 9887, if it's anything like the 9815/9833/9835 HU's that I have owned in the past I will be happy. I almost bought a used 9833 but decided just to get a 9887.

trust me thats not necessary. it can be ordered right under ' customer fulfillment' with the discount. to the store or to the buyer's address with free shipping
