Pioneer DEH-P4100UB vs Kenwood Excelon KDC-X693

Alright well just that little bit and seeing a bunch of pioneer problems from searching, I'm thinking about just going with the kenwood. Thanks to all who gave their input, I appreciate it.

i just got the 693 and it's nice, lets me xover my highs that are powered by it, the preouts are ok too. if the sun gets on it, it is hard to see.

I love my Kenwood unit. I had the 4000UB before and hated it. The fact that I had to ground my RCAs just to get rid of some stupid noise is ridiculous. My Kenwood is easier for me to use, especially with an iPod or large storage device. Also has some extra features over the Pioneer. As others have mentioned, the only real problem is when the sun shines on the face plate. It makes reading the layout pretty hard. Although I think most units will have this problem to some extent. Go with the Kenwood, you wont be disappointed.
