Alpine 9835 or 9886

[Robahr24 10+ year member]

Can't make up my mind which one I want. The 9886 looks better but the 9835 more tuneable. Don't want to spend more then $250 and just love the alpines. Which one should I get?

I'd still go with the 9835 over the 9887 even if the price was the same.
