Pioneer DEH-7700mp Install

Hey everyone,

Question, what do I need to buy.

My roommate is upgrading his HU from the 7700mp.

Ive played around with it in his car and its ok.

Better than my stock unit! I own a '92 Maxima.

I'm getting it free, but im not sure what I might need to wrap up the install on this unit.

If anyone knows, can you please post what it is.

Im looking to do a DYI tomorrow or monday.

Shouldn't need a dash kit, should be able to use the stock radio brackets.

Might want to make your life easier and run to BB/CC and pick up a Metra 80-1763 harness.

dash kit, wireing harness that fits car, butt connecters, and some crimpers

Thanks everyone, and thanks Nova for the model # on that dash kit.

Got crimpers and all that other good stuff.

I was taking a good look at my own power input... it looks archaic.

Im not up on elec standards. Anyone know what "type" power connector my car uses and what I need to go to for the pioneer?

Im just about ready to order my stuff up.

I have already a Scosche NN1490-B wiring harness. Bought it a few years ago, think i got it from cardomain.com and it was for my car so they said.

Is this comparable to the metra you quoted?

Wouldn't know. Nissans use 2 plugs, although they changed the harness in 95 and still used the same 2 plug setup, just different sized plugs.
