I have the avh-p6600dvd and am looking for an ipod solution rather than the aux in. it says it can use the ipod adapter but how does it work specifically with that unit, i know they are kind of slow but what sort of display goes onto the screen? like do you see playlists, etc like on the 5700DVD, if anyone out there has the ipod with the 6600DVD i would really appreciate and help and pics of the unit with ipod hooked up would be greatly appreciated so i can see how it looks

thanks

you can by a special wire probly to hook the ipod to the deck o u can see the titles on screen........ the CHEAPEST thign to do is to go to radioshack and buy a wire that has a phono jack on one end (for the ipod) and RCAs on the other end and plug it into your auxillary input on the deck

the 5700 is newer than the 6500, i know you can always plug the ipod into the brain or the aux using a simple RCA connection, but i am asking specifically about the pioneer ipod adapter and what display it gives you on screen.
