Pioneer DEH-5 head unit problem

Hi,

I can't get this head unit to power on. Is any one familar with this model? Is there a security code you have to enter to make it power on? I think I have the wiring correct, but it does not power on. This is going to be a stupid question, so prepare yourself for laughter; How do you turn this head unit on?

If this head unit might be dead, how can I figure this out? Is there a way? Any knowledge any one might have about this or a similar Pioneer model or about head units in general that might help me please reply to this.

try pressing the buttom called source

get a dmm and test the constant 12v wire which is yellow and test your acc wire which is red. also test your ground wire.
