Hey guys, Finally got my pioneer REV series components put in. WOW, what a big difference compared to the Pioneer 3 way coaxials(A35p2?) I had. A little background on the car, a 1995 LExus gs300 only came with 4" speakers. So we had cut the baffle to make it fit.
Didint do it right the first time so this time we made sure everything was right. Sealed the doors with dynamat, and put some sound deadening foam behind the speakers.
I am very impressed by the quality of these speakers, everything is VERY detailed, the tweeters are not harsh at all, very smooth and silky. Of course I havent had much to compare it to but still, for $106 for the speakers, it was a worthy investment.
I should also add the the speakers are being powerd by a Logic 400 watt 2 channel amplifier(100 rms maybe?) but the gain is turned down all the way.
