pioneer Avic-n3

Recently had pioneer avic n-3 installed everthing works fine except wont hold signal to navigate.Have the gex p10xmt installed installer thought alarm antenna was interfering wit signal so he moved to other side of car worked fine for 24 hours then no signal xm radio plays flawlessly was wondering whether it needs to be reset or if gex p 10xmt is bad? any help or suggestion ? Since its in a limo I can afford to get lost ordering a Garmin Street pilot 7200 since I didnt have any problems with last street pilot,but still need to get this resolved.
