Pioneer avic-n1 or avic-n2?

I just talked to the car audio installer. He wont touch the avic-n2 to sauder the wires together on the headunit to bypass the video in motion. So with this new avic-n2 isnt it just more security so people cant bypass with just grounding the brake wire. Should I just get the avic-n1? There are no new features for the n2 that are worth it. Nav-traffic who cares. Suggestions? Do people buy refurb headunits?

either way i think there was someone on here last month that bypassed the n2

Umm it voids the warranty and the guy wont do that, but he will bypass the brake e brake, but that wont work on n2.
