Not trying to post dump but im abut to get one of these installed in a few days. How did you like the unit? Was it hard to bypass? whats the pros and cons? Please pm me on how you liked it and didnt like it. Thank You.

the 5700 is a nice head unit, i have one inmy lincoln ls

i got the addition DVD-9 talking/speach recognition navigation unit for it, digital surround sound processor, the center channel speaker, bluetooth telephone adapter (which is awesome because it all runs thru the headunit and no visible unit any where, it uses the navigation mic and car speakers for the phone)i also have XM and sirius radio for it, yes you can hook both units up to it at the same time.

i also have a PS2 with it and here is the kicker of them all...........i bought a carputer about 2 weeks ago and i have a cingular blackjack and i take the blackjack and use the usb cord and hook the blackjack up to the computer and the computer uses the blackjack as a modem and i have mobile internet, and i consistantly have over 1meg download speeds and i have reached a maximum of 1.62 megs download and upload isnt bad either, i average about 500kbs

you will like the avh-5700, one thing i love about it is that pioneer keeps making new stuff for add-ons to there multimedia H/U and they are backwards compatable with the avh-5700, its hard to find a company that keeps supportting a product that is a couple of years old rather then just force hem to buy the new "latest" H/U to take advantage of the new gear fro the radios
