Pioneer AVH4100 or Alpine IVA-W505?

Out of these two which would be better if I was just interested in sound quality when it comes to playing cd and maybe down the road an ipod? I noticed the Pioneer is much cheaper than the Alpine brand new any specific reason why? Thank you for any help in advance

idk why but i'll sell you my w505 when i get it back from the repair shop.

Thanks for the offer but im still not sold on getting the IVA-W505 Id like to know the differences between the two and what makes the Alpine better besides I believe Ipod control.

Pioneer is cheaper because it's not on the same level as Alpine. Alpine is a quality unit. I don't think that Pioneer has a BACK BUTTON for the ipod control. You have to go back to Artist again to select another album, then select another song. I could be wrong? I might not be explaining it right, but there's a review on Crutchfield or Sonicelectronix I think? There's no option to upgrade to Navi with the Pioneer. The Pioneer is pretty fast and has clear album art, but the Alpine will sound better IMO! I also think Alpine's bluetooth is better.
