anyone know how to make this thing play DVDs while in gear? I have seen the Bypass boxes on ebay but my buddy does not wanna pay $40 for it..

I have grounded the Parkbrake wire like in my panasonic, thats all i needed to do.. and my old jensen had a code that needed to be typed in via Remote control.. Anything else i might try? I thought grounding it would be enough.. guess not

toggle switch method........ put a switch between the grounded Parkbrake wire .

you need to break the connection only for a second ( turn on then back off the switch)

; )
