Pioneer AVG-VDP1 - anyone ever install one?

I have one, but where to you hook up the speed data wire to? The fucking instructions make no mention of how to do it except "contact your pioneer installation professional". So anyways, im guessing you probably hook this sensor up to the distributor some how to get voltage off of that...but im just guessing. Anyone have any insight into this? I just don't want to be trying shit and fry the unit.

Also, any other suggestions on how to install it would be helpful.

Wouldnt this be for navigation? to tell it how fast you are going ? Then shouldnt it go to the speedo ?

Well, this is going on my 86 Corvette, so im unsure where to hook it up to.

Its not quite navigation, allthough it has a GPS sensor in it....its to tell you how much torque, speed, and g-forces you're pulling off the line at the drag strip. It also has a Tach, and MPH so the data has gotta come from somewhere.
