pioneer.. 98 mustang

not hardwired. the wiring harness had been previously purchased, becuase he had a jvc hu in there. i checked over if for him, and i don't see anything wrong. i figured you guys could help out. thanks for the quick reply

 
Most Mustangs, even without the Mach systems, have factory amps. If it's not bypassed you may have to turn the factory amp on. Make sure the blue/white wire in your harness is hooked up to the deck's remote output.
