Pioneer 860mp, Refurb or New?

hello,

im trying to figure out if i should get a new or refurb 860mp..........

here is why i am in a pickle......a few users have complained of preouts dying on them......wouldnt that be more likely to happen on a NEW unit rather than a REFURB? arent refurbs kind of better since they have had all of the problems fixed on them already?

i know refurbs come w/ a 90 warranty and new come w/ 2 year warrantys, but if i buy online those are voided......but a few of the online retailers offer 2 or 3 year warrantys to purchase for refurbs and new products, through other companys which i would probably get

get it new, its not worth get a refurb and plus i wouldnt trust an refurb. HU is important, spend the money and get a new 1.it'll pay off in the long run

so you think a new headunit that could have potential problems......would be safer than a refurbed hu which has had its problems already fixed?

i bet alot of the ebay retailers claim refurbs as new so im probably worrying over nothing lol

dont mean all the probs are fixed on the refurb. they may still occur. i'd get the new 1, though. i dont trust refurb plain and simple. u'll learn ya lesson. do a search, u'll see how many people have had probs wit there refurbs over the net. juss dont trust it
