Pioneer 860 not ejecting CD's

My Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP doesn't eject my cd's. Is there any fix for this or will I have to send it back in? I push the eject button and it beeps, but does nothing.

mines does that couple times a month. then it's fine a couple hours later or the next day. REALLY annoying. as a matter of fact it locked up this morning, i'm gonna go check if it's good now. try cleaning the gears?

Try putting some alchohol on a q tip and cleaning the rollers.

Someone else had this problem, and said that solved their problem.

I tried the reset button last night and it didn't work. I will go try again though. If I can get it open I will be sure to clean the rollers, but as for now it is impossible without applying excessive force.

My P.O.S. CD Player tried to eat one of mine the other day, and I just removed the faceplate and put it back on until it worked again. Somehow that works for mine. I can't wait to upgrade...

does yours mess up at a specific time? i'm trying to find the pattern to see if it's a hot day or cold or w/e.

motorized faces get on my nerves. next HU i'm getting is gonna be a high end front loading one.

Mine has been off for like a week now. Good thing its a mp3 cd in there. I wonder if i could pop the trim ring off and get a little flathead in there to help it upen.

Mine has only done it once before and it lasted for like a day.

alright kiddo, i just got mine to work. normally these stalls last for a couple hours so i dunno if thats why it started working again or cuz i did something right. take the trim ring off. now pull the bottom of the face out as far as you can without breaking it. get a small flathead screwdriver in there and you can press the button to get the face off. press it and slide the face off. get some WD-40 and spray it on the gears on the right and left side and make sure to get ALL the gears. there's some larger, hidden ones behind the plastic piece in front so lift that up a little to get to em. i had to do 2 sprayings before it started working, but it did. lemme know if this works for ya. i'm happy now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
