Pioneer 860 not ejecting CD's

Make sure there is a CD inside... Otherwise they tend to not come out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

did you get it to work?

try takeing out the radio and open the top plate, so you can see the insides.

chick out the gears. make sure they r working right. maybe one come off.

try pressing eject to see any movement.

when mine does that i just knock on the faceplate and then it opens can't find a pattern thou.
it hurts to have a high end cd player and have to beat its ***.

Smack the top of your dash, rather than the deck.

This was one of the problems I listed when I sent mine back to be serviced (primarily for the ground noise, but if its being repaired, might as well take care of everything) Ill post in this thread if anything relevant is listed on the repair sheet.

I thought i was the only one havign this problem.. My 8600 ate my cd the other day... First time It ever happened and it lasted for about 2 hours. If anyone fidns the reason for this and/or how to fix this please post.

My DEH-P860 is doing the same thing. The motorized face plate won't come down after a while, just beeps and does nothing. Resetting the unit does nothing. Tapping the unit a couple of times or an occasional, slightly harder punch will fix it. I'm still under warranty, will be for a couple of months, if I take it back will they really fix it for good or will the replaced parts start doing the same shit after a while?

Did the WD-40 solve your problem or did it start messing up again?

After I soaked it a few times, it didn't do it again. I had to do it like 3 times though.
