Pioneer 8400bh or alpine 147bt

I was wanting some opinions on which unit is better. Looking mainly at sound quality.

much the same really.... I prefer pioneer decks over alpine

Pioneer. Have had bad luck with alpine cd and DVD cage assemblies

I had the 8400 and went to the 147 and the alpine is much better not only does it sound better but you get the same 9band eq but you also get time alignment adjustment the Pioneer does not you can go from flat to a 24 db slop the Pioneer does not and you can also adjust independently the front rear and subwoofer crossovers and slopes the Pioneer does not the only thing the Pioneer does better than this deck is it looks a little better but other than that the Alpine gets my vote
