Pioneer 8400 problem

hi guys

i have a pioneer 8400 , and from yesterday the face won't come down , neither the eject cd

both buttons ( eject and open ) when i touch them i hear beep but nothin' happens

some guys told about a 'ribbon cable' that it may be broken

looks fine 2 me, this wha solved my prob, hit the eject button and give the faceplate a nice tap downward. it slides rite down afta that, hit me up on AIM:sblazertb if ya havin more probs wit it.
