Pioneer 80PRS question

Hey guys, quick question about the Pio 80PRS. Is it true that to go from standard mode to active mode there is a switch on the bottom of the actual unit? Does that mean I would have to rip apart my car if I switch over setups or want to try the other mode? I've got a Acura 2006 CSX and it's a ***** to get to that deck...

yes you would hve to take the deck out. and you should have three amp that are capable of running active. a bass amp, mids amp, and tweet amp. i am not sure if you can run active just using the decks internal amp. i dont know much though so just good how to set up network mode on pioneer deh 80 prs
