Pioneer 7700 or Pioneer 80MP?

I have a 7700, just didnt have the extra cash at the time for the 80.... I like it a lot. The rotary knob is handy, it offers a lot of control over things, but the 80 also has the rotary knob. 7700 is 22 x 4 rms while the 80 is 27x4 rms. The 7700 has a lot more buttons, but its not cluttered at all, and is easily visible in the day. Both have 3 preouts Front rear and non fading, 2.2v signal. I love the voltage readout on it too.

Overall they are both good headunits, the 80mp would be what I went with if

I had the cash, because it has the same basic features, with less button clutter, but same ease of use. It also has a few other feaures over the 7700.

I forgot to mention the control they have over the subs, its very nice. Low pass filters, high pass filters, custom eq and presets, ASL sensor, and a few other things...

2.2? i thouth they both were 4volters.

hmmm.

well n e way thanks for the help man. but quick question besides the RMS rating why else would u go with the 80mp.. thats pretty much what im looking for

like u I like the feature of the 7700 because i can see what my battery is draining to. with the 80mp i cant. Im just seeing if theres more im missing. when i play aroun with them they all have the same features. I feel the only reason the 80mp is more money because it is more flashy looking and u can do streaming vids or whatever.. no idea tho, thats the number 1 reason i made the thread.

thanks for the help. n e more info would help me more to my desicion

To be honest

If you can

Hold off a month or two

The new Pioneer Lineup comes out in I believe January, right?

Get the 7800

(3) 5v preouts, awesome layout, 16band EQ, bad mama jamma, I cant wait to buy one :)

For the money... I would say the 7700. I had an 8mp and my friend has a 770. They're very comparable. The main difference is the 8mp has the motorized faceplate. Other than that, the features are pretty much the same. The 8mps have more crossover features, but if you're just wanting to run a basic aftermarket unit, I'd go with the 7700.
