Pioneer 750mp not powering on

Ok I just attempted my first head unit install...got a wiring harness and install kit all that good stuff, crimped all the wires together, double checked everything, and plugged it into my dash. I turn key to ACC and it doesnt power on. What could be wrong? This is reaaaaaaaaaallly frustrating!

Its a '96 Saturn SL. I really dont know much about electrical systems so...what fuse are you referring to?

the ones in the fusebox... check and see if any fuses are blown... find the 2 radio fuses or any accessory fuses... cigarette lighter... dome lights... and see if any are blown

check both fuse boxes? usually there's a box under the hood too... check your connections in the harness... make sure everything is crimped together tightly and nothing has came loose... antenna plugged in... and check the harness you used and the harness in the radio... and see if you can see if any wires are unpinned... that actually happened to me today =) and make sure the fuse in the back of the radio is good

lol yeah i hit the "power" (source) button.

Im gonna crimp everything tighter and check the fuse in the cd player and under the hood...i'll be back in a few minutes.

Oh btw i plugged in my stock radio real quick and it worked fine...so i guess its not a fuse problem. Must be something w/ the wires then?

best thing to do is get a meter and test for 12 volts on the ignition and the constant wires in the harness to see if they are getting power, if they are getting power, and the black is grounded properly, and the fuse is in the deck then you probably have a bad deck...

ok so that's getting power... yeah make sure the pins aren't coming out of the harnesses you are using... check the harness you used to connect onto the factory harness and tug and see if any wires come out of the harness... make sure no wires are coming out of the plug on the back of the radio... make sure it clicks into the radio and the fuse is in

Did all that...still nothing

I doubt its a bad deck...I bought it off ebay as refurbished straight from the factory...still wrapped and in the pioneer shipping box.

take the radio out the car with the harnees pluged in. Twist the yellow wire and the red wire together. Then touch the yellow and the red wire to the battery postive terminal. then touch the black wire to the negative post terminal. then tell us if it comes on or not.
