Firstly, Hello!
I'm new to this site! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Reason I'm on here is to try and see if any of you know whats up with my 6x9 speakers.
Okay here goes, they are 4 way Pioneer 6x9 2005 model. I'm using a 06 model Pioneer DEH 6900 deck, and using just the 6x9's for the time being, okay problem is, they distort at the first hit of bass, I've double checked my wiring and its all correct, my brother has the same model cept they are 5 ways, and they sound so much better than mine, alot of bass which doesn't distort at all, and he has a really old pioneer head unit, he has the same setup as me, just 2 6x9's. So whats the issue?
Could his being 5 ways make such a difference over 4 ways?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Brad
