Pioneer 6700mp wiring problem

hey everyone, I just got a new pioneer p6700mp to replace my jvc kameleon. My interior speakers work great but then i turn the my sub on the sub goes crazy and just pounds at full force, not going with the music at all. I can turn the deck down and the sub will continue to go. I have to either shut the deck off or turn my remote bass controller down. I have gone through all the wires several times and tried new RCAs and still have the problem and pretty much have run out of ideas, any help would be great.. thanks alot

Have you checked your grounds on your amp? Did you reset your gains once you got the new HU in?
