Pioneer 3000 Amp

I can get the Pioneer PRS-D3000SPL refurbished for $250, i searched for any input on these amps and can't seem to find anything. All i've found is that the are overpriced. Are they efficient and have good build quality? Looks like a good match up for the 12" fi Q ?
