My brother in law is installing this in his Hyundai Accent 2015. Can the parking brake wire be bypassed on this model?

Some people hook them to a toggle switch to ground and flip it back and fourth a couple of times to fool their radio into thinking the parking brake was used ....

Thank y’all. He tried to ground it and also tried some other bypass thing on the unit but it didn’t work. I told him to spend the $10 on the bypass harness.

Those bypass harnesses usually do the trick...sometimes you get lucky and can get around it . There's a way of wiring a relay up also but that's bulky....the bypass module is nice and compact
