I've got 200 bucks in my acct and I need a HU for the car when I get it

Should I save up some more and get a better Unit, or do you think this should do all right?

It's either HU, Alarm, or buy Components lol

I'm not sure if the 680 is necessarily worth it or not - does anyone know if it still has the individual control for the subs?

Yeah it has a dedicated subwoofer output

looks decent. it has a 7 band eq and yes it does have rca's for the sub so the HU should have controls for the sub. my only problem with this HU is it doesn't state anywhere that it has time alignment. for me personally, i will never buy an HU that doesn't have it.

Um yeah the 680 does not have T/A, Then again, retail on it is $269.95 kenny aren't you being a little hard on it?

I also love that you commented based on a spec sheet rather then on actual use of the product...

yea i know but thats just me. T/A is very important to me. but if he doesn't have the extra money to buy an HU that does have it then this HU looks pretty good.

Actually yes, I sell them at work and I put one in my friends Subaru 2.5RS

also come on, i can't use every single HU. i've had a couple of pioneers and was very satisfied. i last used one last year. how different can a year be? honestly.

Well, I've owned the 8600 MP and the 6600 and the 4600 lol

Only type of HU I've ever owned, thus the reason I'm going to buy another

And yes, I do need both, but which first? *yum*

Yeah shipped to us about two weeks ago.

I dissagree with your statement about how much could they have changed, but I'm going to drop it as there is no point in petty internet arguing. The 680mp is a vast improvement over the 770mp and 670mp from last year.

but like i said my only problem with this HU is that it doesn't have t/a. the reason i said it looked good "based on the spect sheet" because i've used pioneer before and was satisfied and i'm sure that their new stuff is at least up to par of their past products. i used a pioneer HU in 2000 and 2004 and like i said was satisfied so i know the track record pioneer has.

but as you i'm done with e-fighting.
