I always thought they were fugly. TC's basket structure is one of my favs for looking different then the 4 spoke/12 spoke.

I've always loved those claw baskets. Definitely a unique sub.

I LOVE it!!! I just swapped the AP out for the Sonic and the AP/SPL is significantly louder then the Sonic. I mean their both loud, but the Atomic has it easily. Least in the box I'm using now. I might make a new one for the Sonic.

Well I just bought a MK1 Braham motor which I will be reconing into a 10"er. I should also be getting the XXX in a week or to, I'll probably blow that and then recone that into a 10" as well. So be on the lookout for more pictures!!!!!!

Update!!!

This got here HELLA fast!!!!!!! I mean I paid for it friday night/ saterday morning, and it came all the way from Washington (state) So enough talking about it on with the pics!!!!!!!

For those of you who aren't up to date on my collection, this is a MKI Brahma Motor and 12" basket. It will be reconed into a 10" once I find a recone at a decent price. Tell ya what, this thing is freaken heavy!!! Lot more then I thought it would be.

Ok, here are a couple more pics I took. Pulled the basket off and noticed some "stuff" in the gap. Part of the old coil and I mean someone put a beating on this thing. I had more pics of the coil and gap but stupid me decided not to put the memory card back in the camera so I was taking blanks. Also had some good side by side shots but owell. Here are som other pictures I took

Well I got some good news and I have some bad news. Good news first though... My 18" of XXX made it way here all they way from WA., but now the bad news... She didn't survive it..... Here are a couple pics...

All in all I'm not really that upset. The sub had "mechanical Noises" at high excursion and was going to met its death either by the 20.1 or the good old 110v. I'm waiting to hear back from the seller to see if he wants to file a claim with UPS and see were we go from there...

The coil is seized up, there is no moving it. I'm hoping the gap didn't get moved but I think that it is just the coil, least I hope that is all it is...

Thanks man! She is a beast no doubt about it. Almost more then I can carry easily. Just hoping that the gap didn't shift during shipping, if that is fine, it will be indeed a good find...
