That looks like a banging setup though. Only thing I'd recommend is down the line either a drop or some bigger rims, but for now and being broke on a budget that's a pretty clean ride. Probably looks better in person, I've realized black rims don't photograph so well most of the time.

i think the rims are straight. if you got chrome on that, it'd be a joke. to each his own.

havent metered it yet but comparing to past setups i'd say it's right at 145-146db @ 40Hz. hit the lows really nice. The vids are a a few months old, i'm reconing it to get a 1ohm load and sooner or later gettin an HO alt.

as far as the rims. I like them. I mean they're not anything amazing but they're better than the stock hubcaps and they're cheap enough to where i can eventually resell them for what i paid. I think they complement the tint and are not as bad as you guys are making them out to be. granted they're not 20in chrome, but they're cheap, they shine, and they fit my standard tires.

In all seriousness the rims really look like shit, you took what was a normal everyday boring car in nice condition into something that looks like a new car with some junk rims you just jacked from some dome broken down 80's honda accord half stripped on the site of the road in the ghetto and made it look like shit.

decent car, but ricey wheels, i would put a little into lowering the thing and they wouldn't look so bad, and if comfort is not the first concern, thinner tires, like some 40's or something smaller.

amp is a kx 2500.1 with the top cover off. getting the sub reconed to to a dual 2 so i can get a 1 ohm load and squeeze a bit more power out of my amp. I'm going to get a fan and clear plastic sheets to go across the top with air pushed in on the power terminal side and give enough of a a small gap on the signal input side to vent out to keep it cool. the FL sun and ton of abuse keeps the amp hot as balls on most days so the fan will definitely help. Eventually i wanna get an HO alt but neither of the 2 companies i have discount pricing with have the machinery to make alt's for my model of cobalts. I'm going to get a quote from mechman and see what he can do. i just realllllllllly dont want to spend more than 300 or 350 on an alt...but i know its going to happen
