This is bringing back memories. I had a pair of 10" Kicker Competitions in the rear deck of my College Hooptie Crown Victoria that I owned from 1993 to 1996. I hope the people who purchased the car from me didn't plan to put 6x9s back there because they would have had to build a baffle board to fit them since I enlarged the holes to fit the 10s:laugh:

I remember designing that install so that the enclosure sandwiched in between the rear deck and the gas tank. I used some 1/2" bolts with 2" washers to hold it in place and I dropped the 10s into the enclosure from the top. Ahh, the memories

Old setup in my 83 Grand prix:

2 12" L7's, hifonics 1606D.

New box in the trunk [specs/ equip in sig.]:

New trunk setup will be same as the old one as far as sub positioning, Amp rack(s), Ect. Except for the amps will only be counter sunk 1" or so into the wall, 1200D on pass side of trunk, 4002 on Drivers side. Eventually ill have a spare battery in the tire well, And an air tank and compressors behind the subbox.
