pics of tinted cars.

Im getting my windows tinted in about 2 weeks, and i'm debating 15% or 10%. I dont want it too dark but then again I dont want people to be able to see unless they get really close.
There won't be much of a difference between 10 and 15.

Not a good pic but here is my truck...30 on the side, and 2% on the back, and looking out of my backglass is a b1tch at night. the sides arent bad though

its kinda hard if there isnt light on you like head lights or street lights but its worth it. i love bumping next to somebody and all they can see is black in the middle of the day lol. by far the best thing ive done to my truck is putting on 5% tint it just cleans everything up and gives me ulimate privacy.

35% on my front doors, 5% everywhere else. I could wish the fronts were darker but I wanted to give anyone only glancing at my car in passing the appearance of legal.

It's darker than Louisiana technically allows and I have been stopped for it more than once. I've been very fortunate, I reckon *knock on wood*, as I have not been issued a citation to this point. It's generally a hassle because there are several sets of numbers cops feel the need to verify while having me pulled down on a traffic stop but after all of that is over with I've been let go with warnings.

honestly, whats in your car durring the day (or night) that is in your cabin that people wont imagine when they

A. look how dark your tint is - of course you are hiding somthing

B. look at your rims- sheesh, you better have a freakin system in there.

i mean - its like painting "IM NOT HIDING MY MULTI-THOUSAND-DOLLAR STEREO IN HERE" on your car...

Who was this directed at, Req? (or was it even directed specifically at someone?)

If it was directed at me then I'll respond like so:

A) In my hometown cars with dark tint are a considerable majority over those that don't. It's bloody hot in Louisiana in summer and add our average summertime humidity to that then tint almost becomes a necessity rather than luxury. Shoot - my parents' Honda Odysseys both came with 15% tint on everything but the front doors stock.

B) I like my rims...I got a good deal on 'em...and I don't particularly care what anyone else thinks about them or the rest of my car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I have to agree, though, with obvious non-factory features about a car it's generally not difficult to guess what cars might have a system installed over those that probably don't.
