pics of the new amp

alright thanks i was just wondering //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. but here's the info u asked for idk the alternator is stock my car is a 89 linconln mark VII the battery is huge though and like brand new:) so ill just wait and if that happens do like ya said ThX man.

yeah which i have not checked yet plus wasn't going to do the cap right away i just wondering bout some info but by the looks of it i dont need one:)

Your stock alternator should be 90/100amps so lets do a little math seeing as mos stock alts have 40% reserve...

90 * .40 = 36

90 + 36 = 126amps

100 * .40 = 40

100 + 40 = 140amps.....

Either way we don't know at what RPM they do their amperage but that is what they should do.

With 800-1200 watts I would just do the BIG 3 in 1/0 Gauge power an ground with an 80amp or 100amp in-line fuse between the battery and Alternator.

Before doing the BIG 3 or if you just want to find out about then read more at bcae1.com or use the forums search button on BIG 3....

Sound domain has a BIG 3 Tutorial with pics in their forums Power section.

Alright thx man well im just going to keep building and building onto my system gonna do a cap eventually , a better inline fuse a nice clean install still tryn 2 think of how i could mount the amp any ideas let me know? trunk kit eventually.

Alright thx man well im just going to keep building and building onto my system gonna do a cap eventually....

WHY?!!!

Why the hell are you going o waste your money on a **** cap?

Alternator....Big 3....no **** need for a cap all a cap will do is strain your cars electrical even more.

Trust me on this one man.

Infact stop being dumb and actually start doing the things some of us are telling you to do and you'll be as happy as can be with whatever system you have.

No capacitors.Just hook up the subs and amp and if your lights dim when the bass hits and stays dimmed untill the bass stops and dims when it hits again the try just doing the BIG 3 in 1.0 gauge and if that doesn't stop the dimming get a bigger alternator.....

Just freaking open your **** ears and listen.....

in fact I'll tell you what audiobahnuser18,you get your capcaitor when you have dimming and drive to florida and I'll pawn your system with my two 12" Type ARRRRRRGGGGHHHSSS powered by a PA A2400DB wired to 1 ohm with gains set correctly no distortion,no clipped signal and if there is it's not audible by any means and housed in a 4ft^3 35Hz ported box with stock 105amp alt no BIG 3 and no big batt.

Your system will be fine with the stock alt. 800 watts should have a cuurent draw of 55.55amperes.

So subtract 55.55 amperes from your stock alts 140amps (remember the 40% reserve) and you are left with 84.55amperes to run the rest of your cars electrical and charge your battery.

If you experience dimming just do the big 3 and you'll be fine no fancy cap no fancy batt......but my system will still own yours...in SQ and SPL...not being mean or trying to brag....just trying to get you to shut up and listen.

Alright some people are telln me go with one others are telln me not to but you've helped me before on posts and steered me in the right direction so im gonna listen 2 you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif thanks man. now maybe you can help me what would be something creative like where to mount the amp at in the trunk want to do something creative not just like sit it in my trunk bolt it down want to get creative with it like i said any ideas?

LOL....nahw man the kid just needs to stop thinking oh I am going to get this and that and my system will look cool and I can say I spent this much on it and bro that 2.0 farad cap adds 12 extra db's to my score......

Buy the cap and fancy batt and spend..no wait....waste that money only to find it didn't help his electrical problems but only made them worse.

Audiobahnuser18...can't really help with the amp deal your asking about...too tired need sleep plus I am a basshead,I'm all about building a loud box for subs that can get loud and just trowing it in,no fancy installs.....I'll think tomorrow and see if I get any ideas though.
