Alright thx man well im just going to keep building and building onto my system gonna do a cap eventually....
WHY?!!!
Why the hell are you going o waste your money on a **** cap?
Alternator....Big 3....no **** need for a cap all a cap will do is strain your cars electrical even more.
Trust me on this one man.
Infact stop being dumb and actually start doing the things some of us are telling you to do and you'll be as happy as can be with whatever system you have.
No capacitors.Just hook up the subs and amp and if your lights dim when the bass hits and stays dimmed untill the bass stops and dims when it hits again the try just doing the BIG 3 in 1.0 gauge and if that doesn't stop the dimming get a bigger alternator.....
Just freaking open your **** ears and listen.....
in fact I'll tell you what audiobahnuser18,you get your capcaitor when you have dimming and drive to florida and I'll pawn your system with my two 12" Type ARRRRRRGGGGHHHSSS powered by a PA A2400DB wired to 1 ohm with gains set correctly no distortion,no clipped signal and if there is it's not audible by any means and housed in a 4ft^3 35Hz ported box with stock 105amp alt no BIG 3 and no big batt.
Your system will be fine with the stock alt. 800 watts should have a cuurent draw of 55.55amperes.
So subtract 55.55 amperes from your stock alts 140amps (remember the 40% reserve) and you are left with 84.55amperes to run the rest of your cars electrical and charge your battery.
If you experience dimming just do the big 3 and you'll be fine no fancy cap no fancy batt......but my system will still own yours...in SQ and SPL...not being mean or trying to brag....just trying to get you to shut up and listen.
