I should also mention, since you feel the need to question my statements, that this whole thing happened on a Sunday.

I actually went into the walk in clinic-care deal with the same complaint i had for the previous month and a half, expecting them to send me home with more percs. Instead they told me i needed to go directly to the ER and have my appendix out.

So i knew that the hospital wouldn't have time to check what medications i was prescribed and would most likely just give me the benzo. They did, but initially wouldn't give the dose i wanted.

No, i should have clarified. The xanax was not for pain.
Having fairly good knowledge of what happens when you mix opiates and benzos i told them that i took 1mg of xanax four times a day when i was admitted.

If you know anything about benzos you know that you cannot suddenly stop taking them without consequence, so they agreed to bring me .5mg every six hours but i wanted a full mg.

I eventually got it and re-hooked up to the drip.

It was quite pleasant.

Yes, cancer. LARGE tumor. He was an incredible man too. He only had an 8th grade education and was a millionaire many, many, times over. Among other things he developed 46 subdivisions.

I had an old neighbor who was in his 70s that had his stomach removed. He lived maybe 4-5 years afterwords but his quality of life was pretty poor. Eating made him pretty sick. He said he had to have it removed because he took Valium and drank for over 40 years.

He was actually a cool old man, its hard not to like an old man who drinks and eats pills. I got to know him over the fence that separated our yards. After i had known him for a while he asked me if i knew where to get any weed. He thought it might help with his appetite and he said he had smoked it when he was younger. I figured what the hell and gave him a few joints.

I don't think he liked it too much though. It was chronic and i think he got a little too stoned. He said that was plenty and didn't want anymore.

benzos and opiates potentiate one another.

When combined each one makes the other like twice as strong, so you need like half of much of each.

Basically mix a good narcotic with a benzo and get really fukk'ed up.

When i was a young lad we would use a 2:1 klonopin/oxycontin mixture.

Crush up and mix two 2mg klonopin for every one 160mg oxy.

It's winning combo but you have to be careful how much you do.
