*Pics* Now which ride to put my Re Sx's in?!?

Interestingly enough, to the topic of musclecar prices going up and up, it is because of something you originally posted the ricers are guilty of.
Many rich old men go through a midlife crisis now after watching all of the muscle car shows on TV and they want to buy buy buy in mint condition only. That's why these cars cost so much now. Jhonny Cashmoney who wants that 68 camaro he totalled when he was a youngin' will call up whatever Foose-like resto joint he can find and have it built, and it happens more than you would think.

Also, this post is not meant to be in favor of rice. I enjoy all types of motorsports.

And if I had to choose between the two I would buy the black car.
The average muscle car owner did not order his car from a custom build shop. Hence, that cant possibly be the defining reason why these cars have become so valuable.
Most muscle owners built it themselves still.

I do agree, muscle cars have always been a culture and handbuilt masterpieces, but you cannot say that there has not been an exponential spike in the value of muscle cars in the past 5 years or so due to the recent popularity. And the new consumer does not want to resto his newly purchased car himself anymore.

I do still understand there is a majority that do build it themselves, but many many are now paying for the final outcome.

Ive been in the muscle car scene for a while now, the price spike has been longer than the past 5 years. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

No, I do not attribute it (much) to rich guys deciding to have a shop build the car for them. I attribute it to the popularity increase versus supply decrease. They only made so many, yet every generation seems to breed new guys wanting vintage muscle.
