Unforunately that's not mine, it's a member's car of the MR2 board I go to. That car actually has the Jap N/A motor making around 150hp so it's not too quick.

When I'm done fixing my turbo it will look like that except it's blue. Should be making around 250-260hp which still keeps the motor reliable. Other people with similiar mods to mine run low 13's which is plenty for me in a daily driver.

Has the muscle car market peaked yet or is the value of original cars still going up?

still going up...its actaully getting into the post muscle cars years like the 74 i showed you...i bought that car for $10K from a old man that had it sense the cars birth...they only made 4,000 SEs in 1974 which drives the price up up up...but Hemi cars are going for insane amounts...now. you can buy cheaper muscle cars but the things with those is that usually they are in rough condition(beyond your weekend warrior) and/or do not have orginal equipment....i could have bought a 66' charger with a Hemi in it for $25k last weekend but the car orginally came with a 318 so that makes the car less valuable and personally i dont want it. Hemi cars are the big thing right now but for the most part muscle car prices in general see a 10-20% gain every year, simply because as time goes on more of them are being destroyed making their rarity increase...people will pay for a good muscle car what they pay for two lambos...now what people pay for a perfect muscle car is more than some people and their family will ever see in their entire lives...$1.2 - 5million easy...it depends on how much they want that car...watch barret jackson and you will be amazed how much people pay...

**** that's crazy. I watch the Barret Jackson auctions sometimes and it's amazing what some cars go for.

It sucks thought because I've wanted a classic car since I was little but it doesn't look like it will get any cheaper to accomplish that.

HCS (ie: HardCoreSound). Get what ever you are happy with but remeber when you buy something with all the goodies (ie:rice) that those cars have shit is going to start to happen. cracks, paint chips if not painted properly and maintenance. With all that added weight your performance will be down and then add car stereo and it goes down even further. that means worse mileage and more strain on the squirrels.

Personally I do not like rice but The second car actually does look kinda nice except the PT cruiser fenders. Other then that it does look tastefully and alot less things look like they could get scraped, crack or just fall off.

To the OP, I cannot stand body kits like the orange one has. Makes the car look wide and bulky. Black one is cooler, just needs a different front bumber.

Interestingly enough, to the topic of musclecar prices going up and up, it is because of something you originally posted the ricers are guilty of.

Many rich old men go through a midlife crisis now after watching all of the muscle car shows on TV and they want to buy buy buy in mint condition only. That's why these cars cost so much now. Jhonny Cashmoney who wants that 68 camaro he totalled when he was a youngin' will call up whatever Foose-like resto joint he can find and have it built, and it happens more than you would think.

Also, this post is not meant to be in favor of rice. I enjoy all types of motorsports.

And if I had to choose between the two I would buy the black car.
