*PICS*Deadened the hell out of my truck + more!

WOOOHOOOO!!!!!

WOW, so excited. Well, Jason (UndercoverPunk) came over yesterday at about 1 p.m. to help me out on some deadening. Deadener was SecondSkin Damplifier and SecondSkin Spectrum.

After borrowing my truck from the mechanic's (Just got a whole new transmission, 3 weeks later...problems... thank god for 3 year warranty) We took it home and began to strip it down. Took All the seats, body panels, and carpet out. There are AT LEAST 2 layers of Damplifier EVERYWHERE seen (sometime 3 layers). Spectrum didn't get used yet....MAYBE i'll put the full gallon on the floor next time. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Whew....and it's done. I can't thank Jason enough!!!!! Without him it would NOT be done...and it wouldn't look as great! We got done @ about 4:30 am this morning...thanks again Jason!!!!!!!

PS: Waiting on my subwoofer amplifier to get back...just beating on the body panels and the roof it sounds amazingly solid. Results will be in when the sub & amp are back in!

About 100+ ft^2

I've driven it, it is NOTICEABLY quieter on the inside. I haven't even gotten to see full results yet...but I cannot stress enough how SOLID it sounds...like when you take your palm and slap on the roof of rear side panels....it's barely heard if at all! I love it! Now I need my amp to REALLY see how it did!

Well, after tearing it down... we honestly didn't get started till around 4:30-5:00

We went to a hardware store a few times, at twice, took one small break...

All assembled and back together....we were done @ 4:30 a.m.

you must have had that sittingaround for a while. we have not made that product in about year.

Are you going to lay spectrum on top of that now?

Yessir ANT, I deadened my doors a while ago by myself. I had a lot left over...it has been around for about a year, never had the proper time or help to completely gut my truck!

The full gallon of spectrum will go on the bare floor. Then I'm looking at getting a 5gallon of spectrum or sludge to go over the existing damplifier on the side walls and ceiling! WOOT!
