Prolly want to ground that amp a bit better... usually what I do is use 2 self tapping sheet metal screws and screw the ground directly to the chassis. (sand down/dremel an area under the carpet or seat to remove paint). Dont ground it to existing bolts or existing grounds.

A poor ground can cause noise, strain on electrical system, and hinder your amp's performance.

deff will do, this was just a hurry up job that i did. im probably goin to clean it all up this weekend.

edit: i did sand both sides so that it was bare, but i know that still does not account for anything

it is no where near its potential. hopefully in Oct ill finally have my Pioneer in an it will be much louder. i managed to pull a 146.4 in the regal an right now if i got it metered it would probably be about 143 if not lower.

im goin to try an do that this weekend as well. the only problem is that i didnt think my speaker wire was goin to be long enough so i just did that way. but like i said im goin to be workin on it alot this weekend.

just what excatly is regal, and what kind of mike was used on it..Im betting you wouldnt hit over 142 on term lab, im wanna think not even 140 on term lab...

I think the 1200 kicker amps are somewhat weak, but, just dont think your gonna get a 143 with term lab...
