I got to redo the port, I juss figured out I tuned it to 43hz, Ill pass on that one..so somewhat tearing it apart tomorrow to make an L port for it and tune it to 33hz. Covering it hopefully before the end of the weekend, and making some panels for the trunk/amp. Will take pics of that process as well! This is my 4th box I am getting better, but its not perfect.

If you used wood glue, its not going to come apart .... at least in a pretty way.

like ^ said ... is the port going to run into your sub?

To tell you the truth I didnt even think about that untill now. Im juss going to go as far back as I can with the port I guess, Does it matter how far away I am from the back wall as long as Im not against it?

You could try it. I like higher tuned boxes but im a freak

you can play all music lol

your supposed to plan your box BEFORE you build it...you could always keep it as your SPL box, but if you want a lower tuned box, you need to make a new box. once you disassemble that box, its junk, AKA unreusable

you might could take the subs out to reach your arms in and fit an "extension" onto the port....worth a shot?

I actually managed to get the front peice off without destroying anything, that let me take the old port out, and I reused the front peice and juss took some length off it to make it 22" long, all I got to do now is make a new front peice today that makes the port 3.5" wide, and I will be tuned to 35hz. It should all go back together nicely, I juss got done cutting/painting the port at 6:45 AM lol

If you could take your box apart that easy, it's not strong, nor is it well constructed. Build a new box.

Changing internal volume ALSO changes tuning frequency. That also might be too small of a port for two 15s.

I only took the front peice off, and I didnt say it juss popped right off.
