Picking up only the bass drum

I've been messing aorund with my Power acoustik (fubar 12") subs for a bit now, along with its power acoustik lt980 amp.

I listen to hardcore, and i love thee sound of a bass drum, especially in hardcore, with extremly fast double bass.

would anyone have any tips on singling out the bass drum on subs? Also a way to have a much more clear transition between rapid double bass sessions?

I figured a sealed would be better because of how rapid the bass is sometimes. it might need a little more precision that a sealed can give.

the bass is so rapid that sometimes it just comes out in one big sound.. haha.

Maybe it's not that the bass is so rapid, vs. your improperly set-up system.

Tell me, why do you have SPL subs if you're only into.....what you're into.
