Nope not similar, i had the exact same sub. One of the worse subs ever for my music tastes. Horrible for rock/metal, sub does best if you want deep lows.

Also used this woofer before I knew better. By far the worst sounding woofer I've used. I'll admit, it was in box built with pioneers specs.

They actually sound considerably better and deeper/louder if you go with double the manufacturer's specs, but music choice is limited to dubstep, hip hop, rap and decaf. Nothing clean and strong above 55hz no matter what enclosure i've tried.

and its all stupid specs. I've built a total of 4 enclosures for this **** woofer. Two are sealed and ported based on manufacturer's specs.

You might be able to get $100. You should at least double if it looks in good condition.

It's decent - and I just looked in Craigslist and many are around 140 with box so alone I should be able to get at least 85$ . I also got a KAC-8101D for for 40$ so if I can get 85 I got the amp for free and 5$ for the gas. I was really wanting the amp but when he offered the sub I couldn't say no

He was very nice and sent me books and books and books. Pretty much on everything from topics such as acoustics, and basic and intermediate electronics, to theories on acoustics. I read every damn one of them and it was some of the best things I have ever learned.

If you already know this stuff, that's cool. I just wanted to add a reference to the ca.com Reference database in case someone didn't know where to find the info, could find the info.
